BALTIMORE, MD (WBFF) — Officials say the Deputy Commissioner for Baltimore City Police and his wife, were robbed at gunpoint Friday night.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. near Patterson Park in the city's southeast area.
The victim, Danny Murphy, was able to tell police that a white SUV with four people inside pulled up to them as they were walking. Police say, two black males, believed to be 18, got out of the SUV, showed a handgun and demanded the victims hand over their property.
A purse, wallet, and cellphones were taken.
Police say the suspects fled on Patterson Park Avenue. Murphy and his wife were not injured
The city just hired all these Police guys in from New Orleans. They might've bitten off more then they can chew.
