Teen yawns as he’s sentenced for running over cop

A UK bad boy will be doing some adult time — and he “couldn’t care less.”

Baby-faced Kash Parkinson stretched out and yawned as he was handed down a four-year prison sentence Tuesday at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court, the Manchester Evening News reported.

The 18-year-old was slapped with the sentence after running over a police officer during a chase in a stolen Ford Fiesta.

During the hearing for the 5-foot-2 punk, the court heard how Parkinson racked up 47 previous convictions for 77 crimes starting from the young age of 11.

His arrest record includes busts for assaulting police officers two times, as well as robbery and theft of vehicles, according to the news outlet.

Parkinson’s lawyer, Mark Fireman, tried to defend the boy’s heinous actions, saying that he had “one of the worst starts in life I have seen,” and added that the teenager is “extremely immature” for his age, the Manchester Evening News reported.

Judge Martin Savill acknowledged the lawyer’s words, but went on to say “there comes a time when the public has to be protected.”

On June 28, Parkinson plowed into Officer Christopher Haxby during a pursuit. The collision left the officer with shoulder injuries and whiplash, The Telegraph reported.

The pursuit was captured by a dash-cam mounted in the officer’s car and that footage was played for the court.

In the footage, according to reports, Haxby is seen getting out of his patrol car to arrest the driver, but then Parkinson can be seen reversing, smashing the open door of the Ford Fiesta into the officer, catapulting the cop onto the hood of his car.

The cop is then seen drawing his Taser stun gun as he shouts: “Get out! Get on the f—king floor now,” the Manchester Evening News reported.

Parkinson made a run for it, but was nabbed after a brief foot chase.

“You are just 18 but have an appalling record and the footage of the pursuit I have seen is truly chilling. Many people have the good sense to lie when they say they want to change their ways, but you have no idea,” Savill told the teen criminal, who attended the hearing via video, according to The Telegraph.

“That police officer could have been killed because of your selfishness. It is a wonder how you didn’t kill or seriously injure a member of the public or a police officer.”

Speaking of Parkinson’s criminal record, Savill said: “That to me sums up this young man’s approach to life. He couldn’t care less.”
