The South Carolina woman who was arrested and jailed last Monday after accosting black teens at a Summerville-area pool is facing economic consequences for her tirade as she has now been fired from her job.

Stephanie Sebby-Strempel, 38, was charged with third-degree assault for reportedly striking a 15-year-old multiple times in the incident.

She was additionally charged with two counts of assaulting an officer while resisting arrest following the incident. One count for reportedly pushing an officer against a wall, hurting his knee, and a second count for biting an officer hard enough to break his skin.

Rodan + Fields, the direct sales skincare company where she worked as an independent contractor, has now severed ties with Sebby-Strempel.

“In accordance with our policies and after assessing statements from law enforcement, this Independent Consultant is no longer affiliated with Rodan + Fields,” the company stated.

In the shocking video, Sebby-Strempel can be seen threatening the teens with a call to law enforcement.

“Get out! Get out now!” she yells in the viral video. “There are three numbers I can dial: 9-1-1. Get out. Little punks.”

The hashtag #PoolPatrolPaula caught on as a way to discuss the incidents.

This followed the success of #PermitPatty hashtag created for Alison Ettel, who was ousted from a cannabis startup for pets after video went viral of her calling San Francisco police on an 8-year-old black girl selling water in front of her home during a heat wave.
